Born in Amsterdam to Moroccan-Egyptian parents, 18-year-old Imaan is Morocco’s biggest fashion export since we invented the caftan (at least, I think we did). Imaan was discovered in Amsterdam Central Station in 2010.
The young model’s big break came in 2013 when she opened for Givenchy in Paris. She was put on the fashion map when she walked the runway for none other than Jean Paul Gaultier in June 2014. The next September, she graced the cover of the fashion bible that is VOGUE. Imaan already has an impressing résumé, having walked for Prada, Balenciaga, Versace, Fendi, Dior, Victoria’s Secret, Calvin Klein amongst many others.
In short: this Moroccan It-Girl is taking the fashion world by storm!
